This role focuses on solving complex, high-impact quality challenges, shaping testing architecture and automation strategy, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver high-confidence releases that support mission-critical digital transactions.
What you will do as a Senior Software QA Engineer:Lead test strategy, planning, and execution across new features, enhancements, and platform releasesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks to improve reliability, coverage, and release velocityPartner cross-functionally with developers, product managers, designers, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycleActively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing QA insights during sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviewsOwn regression testing strategy and release validation across environments and deploymentsValidate backward compatibility and ensure consistent functionality across versions and production configurationsEnsure browser and device compatibility across supported environmentsEvaluate system integrations and complex customer workflows across interacting product featuresPerform performance, scale, load, and security testing to identify risks and bottlenecksIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releasesTriage defects, manage bug tracking, and partner with engineering to drive timely resolutionDefine and monitor quality metrics, providing visibility into product health and release readinessProvide mentorship, establish testing best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What we're looking for:Strong expertise in software quality engineering, including test strategy, automation, and release validationDeep experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using modern toolsExperience validating complex distributed systems, integrations, and customer workflowsDemonstrated ability to drive quality initiatives across the full software development lifecycleStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integrationAbility to work autonomously in complex problem spaces while partnering effectively across teamsProven experience identifying systemic quality risks and driving scalable solutionsStrong analytical, communication, and collaboration skillsOwnership mindset with accountability for product quality from design through release and ongoing iterationPassion for continuous improvement, experimentation, and raising engineering quality standards
