Founded by a child development researcher and former preschool operations executive, they equip directors, owners, and teachers with the tools, strategies, and support to strengthen their schools and shape the future of education. Their programs — from IACET-accredited CEU courses and in-person workshops to one-on-one coaching — are built by former educators and school leaders with real field experience.Their AI-powered guidance platform is built to bring that expertise to scale. It takes in educator surveys, classroom observations, and daily check-ins, then generates personalized content for teachers and directors through a multi-layered AI pipeline — where each generation step builds on the outputs of the previous one. The result is a fullstack product that spans database design, scheduled workflows, API development, structured AI generation, and a React frontend that puts actionable insights in educators' hands every morning. They're based in Jacksonville, FL, but the engineering team works remotely from around the world.About The RoleAs an AI-Enabled Fullstack Engineer, you'll be the primary engineer on their AI-powered guidance platform for early childhood educators. You'll build the features that give teachers personalized coaching, help directors spot trends across classrooms, and turn behavioral observations into actionable strategies. You'll own the full stack, from database to deployment, and work closely with an AI Product Manager to take features from loose requirements to production. This is a high-autonomy role. You'll often start building with ambiguity, iterate based on feedback, and ship without waiting for pixel-perfect designs. If you thrive when given ownership and trust rather than detailed specs, this is for you.Our hiring partner is looking to fill this role immediately — you'd be joining at a critical inflection point for the product. Here's what your day-to-day could look like:Build AI-powered educator tools: Develop features like smart classroom insights, behavior coaching strategies, leadership hubs, and real-time support tools for teachers and directorsWork with structured LLM outputs: Design and maintain chained generation pipelines where each AI output feeds into the nextShip fullstack features end-to-end: From database schema to API endpoint to React UI — you own it allArchitect for multi-tenancy: Build and improve a SaaS platform that serves multiple schools with proper data isolationCollaborate with Product: Work directly with the AI Product Manager to refine requirements, propose solutions, and iterate quicklyWho We're Looking ForOur hiring partner's ideal candidate is a resourceful fullstack engineer who's comfortable with ambiguity and excited about AI.They care about the ability to work independently, move fast with incomplete information, and deliver real value to educators — more than checking every box below. That said, here are the qualifications:Required:5+ years of experience in software engineeringStrong experience with Python and Next.js (or React + TypeScript)Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)Experience with databases (PostgreSQL preferred)Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools — personal projects, side experiments, or tinkering absolutely countStrong written and verbal communication in EnglishComfortable working autonomously with loose requirements and iterating over timeAbility to deliver without a final design and adjust laterBonus:Experience building products using Generative AI / LLMs (e.g., prompt engineering, structured outputs, chained generation)Experience with FastAPIFamiliarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectureExperience working directly with Product Managers in small, fast-moving teamsCool side projects that you'd like to show us!Our CultureMission-driven: They're building technology that directly impacts early childhood educators and the children they serve. The work matters.Ownership & autonomy: You won't be micromanaged. They trust you to make decisions, take initiative, and drive things forward — even when it's "not your job."Comfort with ambiguity: Requirements evolve. Designs come later. They move, learn, iterate, and improve. If you need everything defined before you start, this isn't the right fit.Supportive & human: They keep egos out of the workplace. They support each other, embrace their differences, and understand that each person brings their own unique strengths to the table.Growth mindset: They look to magnify strengths, take chances, and always learn from mistakes. Why Join Them? Shape the future of early education: Help build the platform that transforms how thousands of educators get support in the classroomOwn the technical direction: As the primary engineer, you'll have real decision-making power over architecture, tooling, and implementationWork at the frontier of AI in EdTech: Build chained LLM generation pipelines, structured AI outputs, and scheduled workflows — real AI engineering, not a wrapper around a chatbotHigh autonomy, real impact: Small team, direct collaboration with Product and the CEO, and the freedom to move fastDetailsType: Contract engagement / CNPJLocation: Fully remote — the team works from around the worldReports to: CEO, working closely with the AI Product ManagerSalary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annuallyYour exact compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors that reflect your individual qualifications and how they align with the needs of the role
