By combining physical energy infrastructure with real-time software platforms, they enable customers to actively understand, manage, and interact with how electricity is generated, stored, and consumed.They are seeking a Frontend Engineer to help design and build the core customer experience that connects real-world energy systems with the people who rely on them.In this role, you will work on applications that allow users to monitor energy usage in real time, manage outages, understand billing, and interact directly with distributed energy infrastructure through intuitive digital interfaces.ResponsibilitiesDevelop customer-facing features across web and mobile platformsBuild onboarding flows, energy dashboards, billing tools, and outage management interfacesTake features end-to-end from concept through production launchCollaborate with backend engineers to define APIs and data modelsPartner closely with product and design teams to deliver intuitive UXContribute to frontend architecture and technology decisionsImprove developer experience and application performanceUse product analytics and experimentation to guide iterationRequirements6+ years of experience in frontend or full stack engineeringStrong experience with TypeScript and modern SPA frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.)Track record of shipping user-facing products from idea to launchExperience integrating with backend APIs and real-time data systemsFamiliarity with product analytics and data-driven decision makingAbility to think from a customer-first perspectiveStrong ownership mindset and first-principles problem solvingExperience with mobile frameworks, real-time data visualization, or IoT/energy systems is a plus.This role offers the opportunity to shape how users interact with emerging energy infrastructure in a fast-paced environment focused on building real-world systems at scale.
