You will help build our billing infrastructure that supports self-hosted and cloud-hosted environments and assist in building our core infrastructure and service through all stages and all areas of software development as well as performance evaluation, code review, and architecture design. The primary focus of this role will be on back-end programming, but front-end experience is also desired.The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Writing/testing code for back-end operations, monitoring architecture performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues.Design, build, test and maintain scalable technology solutions to meet business needs.Implement new features, new products, and help to improve existing features.Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer.Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs.About You: Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university preferred; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science fieldMinimum of six years’ experience in computer programming or relevant experienceAdvanced experience in Ruby and Ruby on RailsAdvanced experience in PostgreSQL (or similar)Advanced experience in Vue/React and JavascriptAdvanced experience in Dockerized environmentsExtensive experience in Local and Wide Area NetworksMust possess fluent ability to communicate in English in oral and written formatProficient in Git for version control.Ability to write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.Collaborative and communicative with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.Open to constructive feedback and actively participate in code reviews.Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.Eager to learn, grow, and ask questions when needed.Why Work at Hudu:Innovation & Impact : Rapid product evolution with regular feature updates and new tools.
