We're changing the game for restaurateurs whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.   What you’ll do Work on a data intelligence infrastructure team, which is focused on gaining intelligence from the mass amount of data that has been collected over the years serving restaurants across the world.  Build and maintain software and tools that enable data scientists, ML engineers, analysts and engineers to extract insights, sell market intelligence to merchants and make data driven decisions for the company Help product teams to build real-time and batch processing pipelines to achieve business requirements Research latest technologies in the open source communities and bring back insights to apply within the team What we’re looking for 5-10 years of experience as a software engineer, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking initiative to drive results. Background in infrastructure or platform development is preferred. Enthusiastic about learning new codebases, and making changes in large complex systems safely and efficiently.  Proficiency in Java or GoLang programming languages. We’re looking for engineers who are comfortable with either language and have experience building high-performance systems. Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud environments, and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience in real estate, food technology, or related industries is a bonus, though not required. That’s why all of our teams (except for our field-based roles) are now working from one of our office locations 5 days a week.  The base salary range for this role is $167,000 - $230,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
