This role, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Advanced Manufacturing, will be a key member of the advanced manufacturing team driving the development of new machines and processes needed for Dandy’s continued growth and success.What You’ll DoCollaborate with 3rd party integrators and internal engineering teams to scale R&D solutions into high volume production processesDrive process development work to quickly solve problems and optimize for cost, quality, and efficiencyParticipate in FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and other commissioning activitiesActivities may include writing machine specifications, evaluating proof of concept systems, conceptual machine design, developing process DOEs, and root cause analysisDevelop, validate, and document manufacturing process improvements including automation, equipment utilization, fixture design, etc.,Collaborate with broad range of technical expertise throughout the companyWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred)Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), process development, and equipment designGeneral knowledge of plastics manufacturing and processing methods (thermoforming, injection molding, CNC machining, spray finishes)Excellent organizational and communication skills3+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or R&DDemonstrated ability to drive the design and development of manufacturing equipmentWhy Apply?We move fast.
