This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and cloud infrastructure, with some exposure to front-end development where required.You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team, contributing to technical decisions, shaping best practices, and delivering high-quality solutions that support ongoing product growth. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable backend services primarily using PythonDevelop and operate cloud-native systems on AWS, ensuring reliability, security, and performanceContribute to infrastructure design and automation using TerraformBuild and maintain APIs and services that support product functionalityCollaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver features end-to-endContribute to code quality through reviews, testing, and documentationSupport ongoing improvement of system architecture, tooling, and engineering practicesTroubleshoot production issues and help ensure stable, well-operated servicesContribute where needed to front-end functionality using TypeScript
Requirements5+ years of professional software engineering experiencePython – 5+ years of hands-on experience building production systemsAWS – 3+ years experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based servicesTypeScript – 1+ year experience contributing to front-end or full-stack developmentTerraform – 2+ years experience using infrastructure as code in production environmentsSolid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including system design and API developmentExperience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflowsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentComfortable taking ownership of features and contributing to technical decision-making
