Our technology has been recognized as one of TIME's Best Inventions and featured in a TIME documentary, TechCrunch, Fortune, and CBS.Here's where your expertise comes into play:We are looking for a talented software engineer to help us build and scale our image capture and analysis platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the software across our edge devices, on-premise and cloud servers, and customer-facing web applications.Your responsibilities:Develop and maintain software for our edge devices, server infrastructure, and web applications.Build and improve the APIs connecting our system components (edge, server, web).Design and improve the user interfaces that customers use in our web application.Implement, manage, and optimize data processing and machine learning inference pipelines on our servers.Troubleshoot problems across the hardware/software stack, from edge devices through the server to the web frontend.Collaborate with the team to design new features and solve technical challenges.What You Bring:5+ years of work experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python for backend/edge, JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend).3+ years developing or consuming APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs).Solid experience with backend web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.English Fluency as you will be working with a US based team (B2 or higher)Nice to have:Cloud platforms (AWS)Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Database systems (SQL or NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch).Experience working with US companies or clients is a plusCompensation & Benefits$3,500-$6,500 USD per month/depending on your location and skills/experience15 Days Paid Time Off + your National Holidays$500 for your remote set up + $100/mo for your wellnessWhy Join Us?Mission-Driven Work – Be part of a company dedicated to sustainability and ending waste.Cross-Functional Impact – Work closely with product, engineering, field operations, and customer success to solve complex problems with meaningful outcomes.Backed to Succeed – Our founders bring experience from Facebook and Bain, and we’re supported by top-tier investors with deep technical and industry expertise.
