ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of the lead technical and development role within the business, responsible for delivering the mobile app and supporting platform end to endAct as the technical owner of the product, driving feature delivery, workflow refinement, and ongoing bug fixingLead the design, development, and deployment of new features across mobile applications (iOS and Android) and supporting backend servicesBuild, release, and maintain production-ready mobile applications, managing Android and iOS deploymentsMaintain and continuously improve existing workflows to ensure a high-quality, stable, and scalable user experienceWork in a tech-focused product ownership capacity, translating the CEO’s vision into practical, scalable technical solutionsImmerse yourself in the product, users, and problem space to proactively identify improvements and suggest innovative ways to evolve and grow the platformBalance front-end and back-end development responsibilities (approximately 50/50)Leverage AI-powered development tools, LLMs, and vibe-coding workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering qualityOperate with a high degree of autonomy, collaborating closely with the CEO and other contributors across the businessLay the technical foundations for future scale, shaping engineering practices, standards, and decisions as the company grows
RequirementsReact Native – 5+ years (Core): building and maintaining production-ready mobile applicationsTypeScript – 4+ years (Core): strong experience writing clean, scalable, and maintainable codeMobile deployment – 3+ years (Core): hands-on experience deploying apps to both Android and iOS app storesAI-powered / LLM / vibe coding – 1+ year (Core): practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Replit or similar) to accelerate developmentDatabases – 2+ years (Important): experience working with databases to support application functionality and scalabilityStrong ownership mindset with the confidence to make technical decisions independentlyA tech-curious, confident “tech nerd” profile with genuine passion for building productsStrong product mindset, focused on user value, business outcomes, and long-term qualityComfortable working in ambiguity, with pace and evolving priorities typical of early-stage startupsHigh level of commitment and passion for the project and its long-term success
