The role would entail working on the state of the ART cellular modems, connecting them to our drone and web based systems. As a lead engineer for your discipline you will be tasked with challenging set-ups, supporting advanced 5G features within the radio firmware, driver and user space. You would Integrate multiple cellular radio links into a single stream and optimize link capacity, latency and stream allocation across these radios. You would work to integrate a cloud base solution into the cellular system and optimize key performance indicators for this connection. The position assumes full ownership of the Cellular set-up, establishing metrics and monitoring test results. You will be collaborating with RF, Systems, device SW and cloud engineering team members who would support the creation of these set-ups.The SkillsetBachelor’s Degree Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.5+ years of experience in cellular firmware and user space design.Proficiency in C, C++, and Python is required.Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).Excellent teamwork skills with a proven ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team and ensure timely project success.Nice to have:Knowledge of wireless standards, specifically 3GPP.Knowledge and experience with commercial connectivity devices, including mobile and IoT devices.Experience with wireless products and their general software stack.Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar database software.Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box?
