You'll lead and manage the QA team, own our test automation strategy, and work closely with product, design and engineering to build quality into everything we ship.What You'll DoManage, mentor, and grow the QA team—setting priorities, providing feedback, and supporting career developmentLead and evolve our test automation framework, with a focus on PlaywrightDesign and implement end-to-end, integration, and regression test suitesChampion a strong quality engineering mindset across the organization—shifting quality left and making it everyone's responsibilityCollaborate with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and testability requirementsIdentify gaps in test coverage and drive continuous improvement in our testing practicesParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and release planningOwn QA team capacity planning, and team performanceWhat You BringExperience managing or leading a QA team, with a track record of developing engineersStrong software engineering skills—you write clean, maintainable test codeDeep hands-on experience with Playwright (or similar modern automation tools, but ideally Playwright)A genuine quality engineering mindset: you think about edge cases, failure modes, and user impact instinctivelyFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflowsExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsClear communication—you can explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences alike and represent the QA function to leadershipNice to HaveExperience with performance or load testingBackground in API testing and contract testingFamiliarity with accessibility testing
