WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring)Build and manage containerized applications using Docker or equivalent technologiesDesign, develop, and maintain a large-scale enterprise React applicationWrite high-quality unit and integration tests using JUnit and JestSupport system integration, testing, and validation prior to operational releaseAssist with cyber hardening to ensure software meets required security and compliance standardsDevelop and maintain internal tools that support product development and deliveryCollaborate closely with cross-functional teammates to solve complex technical problemsContinuously improve code quality, performance, and maintainabilityTake ownership and deliver results in fast-moving, mission-driven environments
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE6+ years of professional software development experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)Hands-on experience developing applications using the Spring Java frameworkExperience building front-end applications using ReactJS or AngularDesigned and implemented solutions using RESTful APIs and WebSocketsWorked with modern development and build tools including: Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Node.js, DockerBuilt large, complex UI forms with strong validation logicDeveloped software in Linux-based environmentsContributed meaningfully to team-based software projects from design through delivery
EVEN BETTERExperience using Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Stash) on large-scale projectsCI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Gradle, NPM, YarnExperience using TypeScript in large or enterprise codebasesContributions to open-source projects or externally published softwareExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environmentsProven success in fast-paced, delivery-focused teamsStrong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with UML or architectural modeling methodologiesExperience with Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) or related C2 systemsComfort producing technical documentation and diagrams (e.g., Visio)
