About Prospera AIWe’re building Sophie, a multi-agent AI orchestrator that helps wealth management advisors deliver more personalized, effective service to their clients. Our platform analyzes behavioral patterns, communication preferences, and emotional states to transform how advisors understand and serve their clients. We’re a small, well-funded team at an exciting inflection point—our technology works, customers love the product, and now we’re building the engineering team to scale. The RoleWe’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to transform Sophie’s user experience. You’ll own how wealth management advisors interact with our AI—making complex, powerful capabilities feel simple and intuitive. This role is ~70% frontend, ~30% backend/integration. You’ll primarily build UI/UX, but you’ll also connect APIs, occasionally modify backend logic, and contribute to product decisions. Pure frontend specialization isn’t practical at our stage—we need someone who can move fluidly across the stack. What You’ll DoOwn the Advisor ExperienceBuild and refine the dashboard where advisors interact with SophieDesign conversation views, client insights panels, and recommendation displaysMake complex AI outputs feel simple and actionableBuild Streaming UIImplement real-time streaming response displaysCreate thoughtful loading states and progressive disclosureHelp users understand what the AI is doing—not just wait for resultsEstablish Design SystemsCreate consistent, reusable component patternsDocument and maintain a component library that accelerates developmentEnsure new features feel cohesive with existing productOptimize PerformanceEnsure fast load times and smooth interactionsHandle edge cases gracefully—advisors use Sophie during client callsFocus on perceived performance as much as actual metricsWhat We’re Looking ForMust Have4+ years production React experience with deep understanding of hooks, context, and rendering optimizationSolid Next.js experience (App Router, server components, API routes)Strong TypeScript skills—non-negotiableProficiency with Tailwind CSS and modern styling approachesAbility to implement complex, responsive layouts without designer hand-holdingGreat to HaveExperience building streaming/real-time UI (chat apps, live dashboards, collaborative tools)Component library or design system experienceB2B SaaS background, especially professional services or financial contextsComfort with Framer Motion or CSS animationsBasic backend knowledge (Python/Node.js, reading API code)How You WorkStrong UX intuition—you notice when flows have one too many clicksPragmatic perfectionism—you know when to polish and when to shipClear communicator who can explain technical constraints in business termsCollaborative mindset—frontend doesn’t exist in isolationWhat This Role Is NotWe want to be upfront about expectations:Not a pure designer role—you’ll implement designs, not create them from scratchNot a backend role—despite being “full-stack,” emphasis is heavily frontendNot a DevOps role—you deploy and debug, but don’t manage infrastructureNot a pixel-pusher role—we value engineers who think about UX, not just execute mockupsCompensation & BenefitsEquity: Meaningful early-stage grant with 4-year vestingTime Off: Flexible PTO with a minimum 15 days encouragedLearning: $1,000 annual professional development budgetSchedule: Flexible hours with 3-4 hours daily overlap (Americas timezones)The Interview ProcessSilver.dev Recruiter ScreenSilver.dev System Design ScreenTechnical Screen & System Design Interview with Tech Lead + CTOAssessment Deep-Dive with Senior Engineer + CTOCulture Fit Check with CEO
