RYZ Labs is hiring for a Facilities Engineer/Technician to maintain and optimize critical infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, and BMS), ensure efficient, reliable operations, and troubleshoot issues. Day/night shifts and on-call required.Responsibilities:Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, UPS, PDUs, switchgear, generators).Monitor facilities via BMS/DCIM; respond to alarms and performance deviations.Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and execute SOP/MOP/EOPs.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues; conduct root-cause analysis and implement fixes.Manage vendor/contractor work, service windows, and LOTO/safety permits.Maintain documentation, logs, compliance records, and reports.Qualifications:3+ years in data center or critical facilities operations.Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, and controls/BMS.Experience with CMMS, test equipment, and maintenance best practices.Understanding of redundancy, capacity, and reliability (N/N+1/2N).Safety-focused; knowledge of NFPA 70/70E and OSHA; able to work shifts/on-call.Certifications a plus: EPA 608, CFC, OSHA 30, CDCDP/CDCEP.About RYZ Labs:RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
